Thanksgiving plans?
« on: November 21, 2015, 02:41:19 pm »
I hope it's okay to post this but for those who celebrate, what are your plans?  :in-love: It's my favorite holiday and will just be my immediate family and I. We usually do have guests but some of those guests have issues.  ::)

My Thanksgiving Day will be a little different this year. I usually have my children and grandchildren over for lunch and dinner. Some of them will not be here this year. Two of my granddaughters, daughter and daughter-in-law cannot be with us. My 2 granddaughters are on the High School Dance Team and the Team was invited to Dance in the Macys Day Parade in New York. Going to miss them but they are having an awesome time spending a week in New York.

Nothing much.  We just have a big dinner and then gather around only.

We went to the church and helped serve 200 meals to those that did not have any money for thanksgiving, or had no one to spend it with, elderly, young it did not matter we fed everyone and had a great time. Then went out to my brothers for a couple of hours to visit. Was quite nice. I do so enjoys doing volunteer work.
