It wasn't easy to find anyone to teach me but i had three teachers in all my dad my brother and my friend. Funny thing though it was my brother who taught me the most in such a short time compared to the other two

It is hard to drive for beginners, but if you practice properly, then you will learn it easily.

I taught all three of my children how to drive. My theory is if you can learn how to drive backwards, you can do anything forward!

Traffic school might be a good choice! My parents weren't good teachers! They just stressed me out & failed my first try!

My Dad taught me how to drive and I taught both my daughters how to drive, plus they took Driver's Ed in High School. I don't remember having any special problems either learning myself or teaching my kids except for the time one of my daughters drove right only to the lawn of one of my neighbors right when he was outside raking leaves. He
didn't say anything about it though so it was OK.

My dad taught me how to drive. And the first time I was behind the wheel we were on a country road, I did that for awhile before I even went into traffic. In Illinois when I was getting my license you had to have 25hrs behind the wheel in addition to the course before you could get your license, but now I think it's changed and it's 100hrs. It wasn't to hard for me to learn how to drive, because I was eager to do so. I am now afraid though because my daughter in another 14yrs will want to learn how to drive and I have no clue how that's going to go lol.

I have had difficulties, for different reasons. I have drove but not much in Traffic. I'm hoping to learn to drive fully and pass the license test this year. It's a step ahead toward my career, life, and goals.

You in the same boat of my daughter. She's having a hard time to pass her driving test too. Just keep on practicing.

My parents taught me how to drive. The problem was that they ar en't the best drivers nor teachers in the world.

My boy cousins who lived on a farm taught me to drive a column stick shift Nash Rambler when I was about 12 years old. Nobody was on the road and I did a lot, lot, lot of jerking that poor car when I released the clutch. But I had my license ON my 16th birthday and everybody was jealous, so I guess that early training paid off.

I did have driver's ed at my high school too. That taught me the rules and stuff. Plus I practiced driving my mom around my neighborhood for a while. Back then, you didn't have to have much on the road experience to count towards getting your license.

I bought my first car with my own money shortly after that and I thought I was somethin' else.

Plus I still love driving a stick shift, like a four on the floor, as they used to say. Thankfully, it's lots easier now to shift gears.  ;)

I got my license while in High School.  We had a Driving School Teacher to trainer us.  He was cool and allowed us to drive where ever we wanted to go.  He also taught us how to parallel park and so forth.  It was fun.  A tester/examiner came to the school so that we then drove him around town and parallel parking and so forth.
