I think it should be voluntary. I think those who live here should be proud to be Americans but why force those who aren't to say words they don't mean? At the same time, why prevent people who are proud of our flag and country from saying the pledge?

I think it's a choice of people, I did not say the Plead or put my hand on my heart.....I only worship one creator God, not a idol or image (That includes a flag)

I think it should be allowed. For those who don't want to say it or agree with it they can bow out. Nobody should be forced to say it but everyone should have the option one way or the other.

I think we should say the pledge of allegiance. I don't think it should offend anyone. I did this in high school, and all of a sudden it just quit.

I don't think anyone should be asked to recite the pledge until they understand its' meaning. Otherwise, it's just indoctrination.

I agree with this.

And Hitch, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego weren't Christians.

Paints.....they served the TRUE God Jehovah and were saved by their faith. They were willing to die then compromise their faith and pick up their torture stake as Jesus spoke of.I am not sure what your definition of christian is.

The 3 Hebrews certainly would have been followers of Jesus as shown by their faith with works on refusing to bow down to an idol.I realize Jesus wasnt born as a man on earth yet and christian means follower of Jesus. What you are doing here is nit-picking.

This is America and I believe  the pledge should always be said first thing of the morning in schools.  If those of other countries that at here do not want to Well they should. If  they want to be citizins of our country it is the start. But so many will not anymore. But I do whenever it is pledged and I have been out of school for years. It makes me proud to say it.

A Christian is a follower of Christ.  You can't be a follower of the Christ if he has not yet come.  In their time, he had not yet come, so therefore they could not be followers of Christ.

Logic.

So i guess Moses,Abraham,Noah etc you can categorize them the same way.

You seem to forget Jesus said,I and the father are one and if you have seen me you have seen the father. These faithful men served and obeyed God.I guess they wouldnt have been followers of Jesus...eh!!!

Logic

Quit grasping for straws!
