Yes I only put one up for a very short time if at all maybe just some decorations. I don't have a family and nobody visits me so I just put it up for the spirit of Christmas.

I've heard of this before, but it's not something I'd do.

I have never waited until Christmas eve. Soon as thanksgiving day is over our tree is bought and up. Usually that weekend.  Nothing prettier than a lit up tree in your house. The smell of evergreen.

I did it once years ago, only because we got the tree really cheap and didn't have any money for a tree that year. It was a very sad year for having kids that year, but we got the tree up on Christmas Eve and got as many gifts as we could under it in the morning for the kids. Turned out to be a pretty memorable Christmas. Sure never want to relive being that poor again though.

I had a lady tell me her family comes over and they have a big production of putting the tree up on Christmas EVE. I was like what is the point by then? Anyone else ever hear of this?

No, I don't think I heard of this, sounds REALLY lame. Like you said, what is the point? How do you even get in the Christmas spirit without decorations? That's not fun! Booooooooo!!

Yeah, I've heard of putting Christmas trees up on Christmas Eve. There are a lot of people who don't like having their tree up for  weeks or a family tradition.

Yes I have a family member who does this after the kids go to bed, then wrap all the presents and put under it that same night, I dont know how they do it! They work all through the night

Yes, I have heard of that tradition, specially in places where is really cold, since you can get the freshest tree on the lot. LOL  I put mine up around December 8, which is Mother's Day in my country, so we wait til then to put it up and we do leave up until about Jan. 7 or 8 after the celebration of the Three Magic Kings.

I've heard of it but it seems so stressful. Even if you have a whole family to help put it up. Plus if you put it up early you can enjoy it longer.
