Stores always try to get a jump on the holiday rush because they usually order more then a months worth of product to sell before the holiday and they have no clue which products that are new may fail or not. You really don't want to be a store at the end of christmas with a ton of Christmas items unsold. But its a good time to get deals

Any different than selling Spring/Summer stuff in January/February? Not really. There's just no complaints because people are excited for better weather.

These stores seem to try to be one season ahead! It drives me crazy because sometimes you need something for this season and they're already running out.

No, I haven't seen any of that yet, but I think they just want you to start thinking about Christmas shopping. It's all a marketing ploy.

Yes this is a great time to get sale prices. After black friday, the prices will be higher. I'm going to get myself an artificial Christmas tree :star:

If you are just noticing stores putting out the Christmas, they started this in late July, early August.  Christmas is too commercialized to enjoy it.  When I was a child, Christmas was THE BEST holiday ever.  It wasn't about buying expensive gifts that everyone only look at for a moment unless it's a diamond (LOL).  In my family it was about the true feeling of Christmas, the food, being amongst family and stuffing yourself and the toys.  It wasn't about buying things you couldn't afford.

I notice it is like that after ever other holiday has ended, but it is good to get it all after holidays when it is so cheap for next year!
