October 27 is National Potato Day

My family had mashed potatoes nearly all my life. I love the twice baked potatoes. I enjoy potato pancakes too. What is your favorite potato recipe? Do you like potatoes? Have a gr8 day.

Did you know that the Irish only ate potatoes and nothing else for years and when there was a famine they starved. Seen a documentary about this awhile ago if you had a cow you were well off and could make mashed potatoes.

Yum! My mom used to make potatoes for us all the time. I bought a few a week or so ago, intending to make mashed potatoes, green beans and vegan "chicken" nuggets, but haven't cooked it all yet!

I love baked potatoes - I buy organic since I like to eat the skin also.  But in the summer I enjoy eating a really good potato salad.

I don't think I've ever met a potato I didn't like.For some reason,I didn't eat them today.I would have if I would have known earlier that today was National Potato Day.

National Potato Day? We celebrate way too many days. I think I also heard that it was "National Black Cat Day"/
