New or Used Cars

I just bought me a new car 2 years ago. My old one gave out on me .  The new one was a year old and had only 14,000 miles on it.  It was a $27,000 car and I got it for $18,000.  A good deal.

I think used cars are the way to go. Tags and insurance are a lot higher on brand new cars, but if you go to a reputable dealer who puts a warranty on every car they sell you can get a really good used car. Some dealers these days are also using Car Fax. I have never used it, but it could be very useful.

It all comes down to personal preference. Even though I have a used car, I prefer new, because it's cheaper financially when it comes to repairs and other expenses.

Buying used it better for your wallet, but I can see the value in buying a car new off the lot.

We bought 7yrs ago a 2007 Pontiac G6.We still have it,happy with it but we are thinking to buy a new XV Crosstreck.Better for winter time and easy on gas for an SUV.

I would rather buy a new car and drive it until the wheels fall off.  My current car I bought new and have had it for 15 years and it runs great.  I'm afraid of used cars because I don't know where it's been.  Even if you buy it from a dealer there may be problems they don't know about.  I'd rather be the first and only owner.

My car was purchased new. However, God forbid it dies (I have had it for 15 years with no major issues), it is extremely likely that I would simply purchase a used vehicle. At the moment, I do not have the time to afford a new car.

I had one used car and 3 new ones. I am never ever getting a used one again unless I can't afford a new one. I had way too many problems with the used one I bought.

I  have no problems with either new or used.  It work for us.
