Vacation time off from work
« on: October 17, 2015, 02:43:19 am »
Are you the type of person that like to that time off from work, whether
it's 2 days or more just to relax at home or that a trip somewhere or do you
work all the time and bank your vacation hours?

I am off until wednesday so I truly believe in taking time off from work. It is good to step
away from the work and co-workers.lol

I like to take actual vacations! But every now and then I take a day off here and there just to catch up on things.

I am retired now. When I did work I liked to take full weeks off to coincide with school vacations.

I love taking vacations but so rarely have the time off.  My day time job gives me five weeks of vacation per year.  I can bank two weeks of vacation on to the next year each year which I always do.  I use a week and a half of it on the children's activities, one week for vacation with the family and the additional time off is spent making more money on my night time projects when they get busy. I am a contractor at night which pays better but does not have benefits like vacations.  I have started taking a little unpaid time off to take care of investments and house work (handy men make almost as much as I do on my day time job so it no longer makes sense to have them do what I can do). I have also been aiming to get at least two workouts in during the week.
