Raise to $10 a Month for Posting?

That be interesting and it get more people to post for sure but the one comment 10 for 30 posts thats way to small. It be an increase of 200 percent which would hurt fc I'm sure. 500 for 10 id be up for. But the one person who suggested a max on posting that's kinda counter productive because if you limit someone on something like that they will just end up quit doing it after a while and get sick of the limit. You want people to post limiting will just make people not want to

Raising to that amount would definitely be harder to achieve! 500 posts I have enough trouble trying to just get to the 30 and sometimes it is a real struggle;  I am fine with the current $3.00, thank you  very much!!!!!

There's already a post limit in place. Newer members( and some that were abusing the system) can only make 9 posts a day. I don't think that's stopped anyone from participating.

This conversation is fascinating. 500 posts would be a lot (at least for me). I like the notion, and agree with the previous posts about increasing the earnings so if you make "40 contributory posts, you can earn $4, if you can make 50 you earn $5." This would be a nice way to provide additional support for people who enjoy in engaging in the discussion boards.

I think 10.00 for doing 100 posts is a good idea. 500 is just to many unless they were paying 50 dollars to do 500.

Sure thing, just get a blog or forum started and make a post stating anyone who posts in your forum or comments on your blog 60 times can request $6 by sending you a PM with their PayPal email address so you can pay them. It's that simple.

I dont have really anything in my PayPal account only .89 cents thats it. Trying to find a way to put money in there. I will contact u later when I get home from work so we can get this going. Trying to find many ways to get something on these sites.

To be honest, I struggle to make 30 posts a month that truely add to the conversation, or community.  I dont know that I could EVER do 500 posts a month unless you guys wanted me quoting my novel at a paragraph a day.

I would rather keep it to 30 a month for three dollars. I don't think that I could do 500.

I personally would rather see an lower cash out minimum ... I think ppl would get less discouraged if they could reach the minimum faster and be less likely to give up on the site.

What an entertaining thread this has turned out to be.  Five hundred is a lot of posts.  I got curious as to how many 500 posts would look like.  I counted the posts in this thread - 15 on each page (counting mine as #15 on page 6).  That's 90 posts, not even one fifth of a 500 post requirement.  Even if FC had a source of revenue to pay us for that many posts, I'm afraid I would get burned out pretty quick unless I needed the money awfully bad.
