I am in oldbuddy's network myself and the plan really does work. I haven't made much money from fusion cash so I use money that I make from ebay to put towards those other income steams. Thanks old buddy for sharing your knowledge.

Maybe you could help out with the whole promoting thing. How do you get a good spot on Google? I don't want to invest tons since I'm not making anything yet.
The first thing is to pick something to get #1 for that every big Guru online isn't all over. Do a search for it and see what comes up.

Then try to get a domain name with your keyword in it. Don't listen to the old garbage that it MUST be a .com, I got #1 for a .info just to prove it could be done.

Then make some videos that link back to your site, put your keyword in the title, description and keyword list.

Try to get text anchored links from authority sites back you yours.

This is by no means an in depth article on SEO, but it's all I do and it's all free but buying the domain name and hosting it. GoDaddy usually has a sale on .info for like 89 cents a year and hosting with Angry Hosting is $1 a month.

Then pray a lot.

I believe a lot of getting a good position in a google search is getting your username on a lot of websites with backlinks....basically get it out on the internet.  I think even using traffic exchanges will help.  Plus, the more details you have to search, the more the right info comes up.  For instance, my name that I sign is Dave D  if it is googled, it comes up with a lot of junk...but if I put more info, or other names I have promoted, it comes right up with my stuff.  I just tried it and it even comes up with a link to this fusioncash forum if I search dave d ipayitforward...just because I had both those names in a post about getting my facebook dollar the other day.  Try searching your username and fusioncash together and see what comes up...if you have posted to this forum, you should see quite a lot.  You might be surprised!

I could give you an example of how i have promoted my site where i show my hobby, which is metal casting, but I don't think we are allowed to post links here...or are links to a hobby site OK?...I am not going to risk it!

the fastest growing promotion is Facebook - even CNN is worried about the 500 million people on Facebook - it's were your friends are and that's where you customers are also

It may seem like a simple thing, but not having your photo on your profile here points out to me why you are not getting referrals. You need to be recognized EVERYWHERE you can and make comments that give people a feeling that you know what you are doing, even if you don't yet.

I was thinking about doing the whole youtube referral thing, but everyone else does. I made a few business cards (10) and put them up at my job on our bulletin board. They were all gone the first day. I had 3 people sign up, but no one confirmed their email. :/

The B-Cards may be good.  If you are on a campus location pin up a few ads with "tear" offs with your link.  Just simply having a conversation with fellow like-minded people about how you are earning and what you are doing for it --> once they find this out, they'd be crazy not to give it a whirl, heck, it's free $!

Actually I probably have fewer programs than most people here, only a handful and Fusioncash is high up on my list, because it's easy to get referrals for. It's just the programs I use take so little time, it leaves me plenty for promoting and I have several top positions on Google as well as YouTube. That brings contacts and I work with them one-on-one with Skype. You do NOT need huge numbers of referrals per day to make good money online. You just need a plan that works and a way to show it.
Hi, oldbuddy you are better at internet marketing then most, becuse I've had some modest success earning but not the kind of success you speak of, I find it very dificult to get active referrals and I'm a member of some really good earning sites, and traffic exchange programs, I'm no stranger to the internet and earning online but I'v still had a really hard time earning more then pocket change. :peace:

Look guys, I am NOT a genius or guru of any kind. I'm just an old retired guy with lots of time to drive myself to learn what I need to know and apply it relentlessly. I have no special skills that anyone can't learn from the Internet the same way I did. I am not afraid to take risk and don't cry when I lose, I just dust myself off and start over. If you haven't hit any home runs yet, it's probably because you haven't swung the bat as many times as I have. EVERY time it connects, you get another surge of adrenalin and the next time it's that much easier. For example last week alone I added 94 more referrals here just because I tweaked a website I used over and over until I got it right. Then I pulled $100 out of my pocket and rolled the dice. It Payed Off! How many of you have the confidence to lay $100 on the table to back up your convictions? That's the ONLY thing that makes me different and you can get there too. I HONESTLY started out online clicking on ads for a penny each and you know what? I still do it today! I don't do it for the penny, I do it because it sets an example that pennies add up to dollars if you click enough of them and find a few others who appreciate what you do and help turn that into hundreds. The ONLY thing that makes me better is I KNOW I CAN BE and I don't quit until I do it.
