Do You Whiten Your Teeth?

What do you use to whiten your teeth?  Have you had any side effects?  How long have you used teeth whitening products?  Do you do it at home or professionally? 
My daughter wants to whiten her teeth and I just thought I would inquire!

I used to but my teeth and gums started hurting when I ate cold or hot stuff.

I've tried the Crest white strips and don't see much of a change.  Somewhere I heard that peroxide by itself will whiten them too.

I got a sample of Crest white strips and decided to never (purchase) use them again. Not only was my teeth sensitive after using it, my gums were very sensitive as well...So, I just stick to whitening toothpaste.

I've tried several things - having a professional whitening procedure done at my dental office, using baking soda at home and using Crest whitening strips. I'd have to say that none of these things made much of a difference at all.

I use Crest Whitening Strips and the whitening toothpaste. It works very well.

I just go to the dentist and ask for a whitening.

I have whitened them with the whitening strips, but it is too much of a hassle to keep them in place, so I just use whitening toothpaste now.

I am working on mine with oil pulling using coconut oil.

I used to but my gums became sensitive/irritated too, and then I read some products will ruin the enamel on teeth.  I only use peroxide now & like how it works.

White Strips on occasion.  They work but my teeth are sensitive for a day or two.

Some whitening toothpaste is fine, but I do not like stannous fluoride. That thing peels away the skin inside the mouth give this nasty white gunk.
