Honestly? I personally think the only reason it SEEMS to be happening more is because of things like social media. As a criminal justice major Statsically speaking crime has gone down in a lot of places. Especially those that are for the second amendment. I also agree with the above poster talking about whipping children. A lot of these kids, and young adults my age, have NO respect for anyone. Kids arent raised like they used to be. All these parents and their liberal thinking. My mother has/had no issue with spanking her kid, Im 22 and she would still bend me over her knee if I ever disrespected anyone. Honestly the government has even spoiled the lazy. I work 40 or more hours a week, currently searching for a second job but no one likes hiring around a 3 to 11 job, I can barely afford my bills, let alone food. Guess who cant have food stamps? But all these others who refuse to work can. Im going to stop ranting and apologize before hand if Ive offended anyone. But this is the truth as I personally see it

That is part of the problem.  People commit a crime like a mass shooting and then it is dismissed as a "mental illness".  They do not have a mental illness.  They are evil.

Who is this "they" you are referring to?   It is a complicated issue not just to be blamed on what you perceive to be spoiled children.  Busting them on the butt only promotes violence.  I agree, perhaps some children are spoiled but I think this is at the bottom of the list of causes for the mass shootings that have been going on. 

THEY are the idiots who voted for the current administration.  I am not blaming anything on spoiled brats.  I blame the adults who make them that way.  Kids are raised to believe that anything they want is theirs for the taking.  And that they should not have to work for it.  So they grow up with that mentality.  I went to school with a couple of girls who were raised by dead beat parents with welfare checks and food stamp cards.  So when we graduated while most of us got jobs these girls got their own food stamp card and welfare check.  There is NO reason they cannot work.  They are worthless lazy bums.

THEY are the stupid people who make and pass laws excusing bad behavior, taking rights and freedoms away from honest citizens and THEY are also the idiots who voted them in.  That is who THEY are!

And there is NOTHING wrong with spanking kids.  There is a difference in abusing and kid and spanking them.  Actually the Bible says BEAT HIM WITH A ROD! 

A spanking will hurt a lot less than eternity in Hell.

I too feel that our country is going to pot, . this day and age we hear about bad things happening all around us so much quicker because of the news media.  it has been going on for a long time. I do not have a gun, but I feel if the guards in schools and of course some teachers with training were to be able to have guns  there would not be so much going on.  Notice all most all of the shootings are happening where it is gun free. Why not they know they won't be shot.  If the president and others can have so many guns around them why not to protect our children.

Thats very true.But if you are going to reference the bible you should also know the bible says in the last days there will be an increase in lawlessness and the love of the greater number will cool off.

Even i can remember a time when we didnt lock our doors at night.That is certainly NOT the case anymore!!

Maybe if that stop putting this on TV every 5 seconds maybe it might go away.
