So Sick of the violence

With the school shooting in Oregon and the latest police officer shooting recently,I just wish it would all stop.my prayers go out to the families of the victims.

School violence hit VERY close to home this week.  At a high school just 45 minutes away, a student tussled with the principal and then pulled out a gun and shot the principal......Luckliy, the shot hit him in the arm only.

Two other administrators tackled him and held the shooter down until police arrive.

Back when kids were made to mind and if they did not they got their butt busted you didn't have stuff like this happening in schools.  THIS is what happens when you never tell a kid no, let them have and do whatever they want, and teach them that they win no matter what.  Don't do your homework - okay we pass you anyway.  Totally suck as a ball player - that's okay you can still be on the team.  Don't want to work - that's okay we will pay you a check any way.  We will just take the money away from the people who worked for it.  Smh.

Who is this "they" you are referring to?   It is a complicated issue not just to be blamed on what you perceive to be spoiled children.  Busting them on the butt only promotes violence.  I agree, perhaps some children are spoiled but I think this is at the bottom of the list of causes for the mass shootings that have been going on.

I feel the same but the only way to make it STOP is to 1. get the fool we have sitting in the White House OUT; and 2. Arm all citizens - which is the most important part - cause that will deter even the crazies!!

I totally agree with the above.  Let's don't keep score and everybody gets a trophy is the one that drives me nuts.
