Seriously, JUBLIA!  Just giving an example of some nonsense that others post just to get the quota, doesn't really make sense huh and not a good topic either with really no discussion ???  Oh wait I should of stated it like this:  Toenail Fungus or Dry Mouth?  I saw a commercial on these the other day.  See I can come up with that drivel too, BUT I DON'T do that just to get quota, WORD 8)

That's for Fusioncash to decide. I understand that some of the posts get a little strange, but then again it's an "off-topic" message board. What else would you expect?

I actually don't mind these type of topics, as long as they are in the Off-Topic category. What I dislike is when you find something like that in the Debate and Discuss section. Really?! Nail fungus is a controversial topic that may garner a heated debate?!

And when I do answer these topics, I usually try to put in more than a quick "I don't like nail fungus" type of answer. For example, were nail fungus a true topic, I might offer something like:

Being a diabetic, I am more prone to infections. Thus I have to be more vigilant about drying off my feet after I shower, and wearing breathable footwear.

I guess if you do create a topic like this (or answer a topic like this), it should be done more for the actual topic / responses and less about just fulfilling the posting quota.

That's very well said, I agree, as long as it's in the correct forum, then it's not a big deal.

lol

My grandfather suffers from both those ailments atm.  One is from medication, the dry mouth.  The other is due to not being able to reach his toes to trim them, due to arthritis, and that generation apparently has something against going to have a pedicure.

So even if the subject maybe irrelevant to some, some people would be happy to discuss dry mouth and toe fungus with whomever.

Interesting topic: It is true. Some people suffer from infected toenalis, for whatever reason. Toenail fungus can be treated with: Vick's ointment or tea tree oil. Applying it directly to the toenails.
