Pope Francis
« on: September 23, 2015, 09:29:29 am »
He arrived today, I live about 50 miles north of Philadelphia where he will be giving a mass.  According to the TV it's a mess there, traffic and thousands of people.  Would you go see him if you were able?

Probably not because I don't like the crowds.  But I am impressed with the man and would watch him on tv.

No. I don't give a damn about the pope, and he is a mortal like anyone else.

If I had the chance I would. I did get to meet Pope John Paul II in person though so I'll be content with that.

No.  He is nobody special.  He doesn't even go by the Bible.  MAN cannot forgive sins.  Only the blood of Jesus.  And you pray to God not Mary.  Smh.

There's plenty of "mortals" that people go to see. I'm not Catholic, but if the Pope was around where I live, I would likely go. It's an event.

He is current in New York City; I am 6 hours away from the city. I really wish I could go. :-(

I work outside Philadelphia and they are saying everything is going to be closed. I would love to see him but I think it would be too much of a hassle and you wouldn't be able to get that close.
