Do any of you use Redbox?  I am curious as to if I can use a prepaid credit card at the terminal?

I always pass by it whenever I go to Walmart. I only tried it once.

Did EITHER of you use a pre-paid debt card?  That's what I need to know.  I have passed by them a million times.  I have a code for a free movie and I have a prepaid debt card and wanted to know if I can use that.  I do not feel comfortable using my debt card connected to my SS# and Bank Account.

Unsure if you can, but doesn't hurt to try it!

That still doesn't answer my question. lol.  It is  PRE-PAID DEBT CARD.  PRE-PAID being the kicker here.  I am going to try it later today.  And I will solve the mystery.  And I will come back and let y'all know if it worked.

I look through the list nearly every time I pass rebox. We have them everywhere here. Their office is easy to get-a-hold of. Good luck on your card, always scary to use it.

A prepaid debit card with what logo?
Prepaid cards work the same as credit cards, except that the money is already there, on the card.

And the link is to redbox customer help. You can ask them directly.

The red box is a waste of time and money. But that's just me.

As long as there are sufficient funds, it should work. I would guess they will put a hold on the funds on your card for whatever the maximum rental cost would be. Similar to when you pay at the pump with a prepaid card.

I've only used Redbox a couple of times and don't remember how I paid.  But I've been simply amazed at how busy they stay.  I've hardly ever passed a Redbox where no one was getting a movie!  Somebody had a good idea!

Every Redbox we have around here, the lines are always long.  So I have never used it.
