Longest job held

Just recently had my 7th year anniversary at my job.  It's hard to believe it's been that long.  Time sure does fly.  The other longest job I had was also seven years.  How many years was your longest job?

I worked at one place 20 years and it closed.

I got fed up working for others and started my own company where I worked 25 years until I retired and sold it.

12 years for the same companey. however i was at 4 different sites.

14 1/2 years and I pretty much hated it every minute of it.  But I get a small pension check out of it each month to supplement my disability so I guess that is the silver lining.

Longest was 6.5 years. I would have stayed forever but I was laid off after we had a few rough years.

I've been at my current job for 5 years.  It's my longest job right now.  My prior job was 4 years and probably would have gone longer if i wasn't laid off

I only had 2 jobs and the longest was 37 years!

This January 2, 2016 will be my 20th year at the same job. Unfortunately come March 2016, I may be terminated but that's OK, everything must come to an end and if I am terminated then I will be able to sue for hostile work environment and retaliation. Life is will be better once I am rid of the toxic work environment I am currently in.

The company that I held my longest place of employment was 23 years and the next longest was 16 years then I retired and I'm enjoying it.

Was married 15 years to a farmer and worked my tail off.  It was the hardest job I ever had, raised two great boys.  The next longest job was in retail and it was for almost 15 years, was transferred once to a different city and worked my way up into management Loved it. Then I remarried and have been newly married going on 22 years. . Left my job as I would have had to far to travel either in blowing snow or sand depending.  Life is good.

I am fast approching 5 and a half years at one of my jobs. Time sure does go by fast it seems like i just started. Can't wait for the six year mark in jan to come at least then i can say i have been in that field for long enough. Congratz to you and all your years of hard work.

I passed 10 years with my company last month.
