I can imagine they charge more for them too. I will just grab a 1.00 one from the dollar store.

I just found out about these a month ago...I've seen a few cat ones that I plan to get from Amazon.  They look fun....great for something to do during bitter winter.

I have just recently heard of them. Are they sold at Barnes and Noble or any Book Store ? I think I may pick one up. I am also thinking stocking stuffer for my husband (maybe).

We have a group of women that get together for coloring and conversation.  I think the discussions flow easier if you're coloring, because the conversation isn't forced.  I've always enjoyed coloring with kids, so I think it would work with grownups too.

Well, that sounds like fun. I am sure nursing homes could put those in very good use. I think I would enjoy them too.  :highfive:

I know I enjoy coloring with children, where the child works on the left hand side of the page while I am coloring the right. I've seen a few of the adult coloring books and they look very complicated - like you would have to really pay attention to color them properly. I am not very artistic so I don't know how well I would do at that.

my sister just got a request to put together an adult coloring book based on women in the old testament.
it is intended to be used for bible study groups.
my sister has been a talented artist since she was 13.
She is now a published author like her husband.

I loved to color as a kid so I think it would be just as awesome as an adult.
