do you decorate for halloween

we do we did it  today my girls love making the yard look scary and spooky the inside is spooky but not scary but the kids love it so it is fun watching them decorate

Do we decorate for Halloween?  We used to but the teenagers would take our pumpkin to smash them and any of the decorate we put out seem to walk off.  My grandson loves to put stuff in our windows because they don't mysterious disappear.   The same thing happens for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I can't believe Halloween is around the corner! I will be in Disney with my boys for Halloween, so not sure if I am going to decorate like I used to. I may put some things out like my scarecrows and some window decals and maybe my skeleton, other than that...not going all out. Have a wonderful Halloween everyone!

No only because I am not able to physically and because we are out in the country no one comes by that much and we get no trick or treater's so don't bother with it.  I do put some stuff out inside the house some years just for my enjoyment.

That is, until one Halloween when a group of kids took one of the pumpkins off the porch and threw it through my living room window. Broken glass was everywhere both inside and outside of the house. Now I keep all pumpkins indoors and only put the cutouts in the windows from the inside.

We did when our son was young and there were lots of kids in the neighborhood.   We actually decorated his room one year, I think he was about 5 or 6, while he was asleep.  Put cobwebs up and all kinds of jack-o-lanterns and other stuff.  It was so much fun when he woke up.  Always decorated outside.  I loved doing it but our son is now 35 years old and there are no longer young children in the neighborhood.  Little bit sad, I miss it.

I did more decorating when the kids were young and at home.  I only decorated the inside of my house with some Halloween ceramic figures and pumpkins.  The kids carved jack-o-lanterns and those sat outside on the front porch.

Not any more!  My kids are long grown.  Besides, the kids don't come around in the neighborhood anymore and Halloween as a holiday is nothing like it used to be.
