I've had both dogs and cats, at the same time even.  Right now I only have cats.  I miss having a dog so I love on any dog I meet that wants it.

I wouldn't say I'm a dog lover, but I do have a small dog that I love very much.

I grew up loving dogs and I still do; however, in the past 3 years I've been "in love" with a stray cat.  I feed her every day and she's so intelligent.....

she knows where to meet me so she can have her dinner.  It's a priceless relationship.

I love dogs, grew up having dogs at our home. In less then one year, I recently lost two of my babies from old age, my oldest baby was almost 16 years old when he passed away,  a dalmation/german shepherd mix. he was so aggressive towards strangers, and my other baby was 13 years old. My little pom pom princess passed away from an enlarge heart due to heart disease, I was so devastated so heart broken, cried for days/nights. My babies will always be with me and in my heart.  And about a month and a half ago, a relative of mines gave me a  doxin/yorkie mix. He instantly got so attached to me, he likes to be hugged all the time. He is so adorable. Love my little baby so much.

Grew up with both cats and dogs, but as a single adult, and now married with a family, have only had cats.  With our family schedules and frequent weekend trips, our living circumstances would not be fair for a dog.  We do not have a large yard or space to let a dog out and not enough time to adequately provide walks.  Cats are much easier for us to take care of and so we have only had cats.

I am a cat person. My cat of 19 years was just put to sleep back in the winter. It was a sad day.
