This has been such a sad moth so far lost my father in law on july 31 he was a vet was so sad watchin my husband lose his dad so please start showing ur family how much u love them cus life is too short

I am sorry for the loss in your family.  Fathers-in-law can be as close as your own father.

Life is short....we are dealing with cancer with my Mom....85 years old and battling that disease for the 2nd time.

Hello! I'm sorry for your lost. Life is short! We should always let our love ones know that we love them. We should all seize the day! Do the things that we love! Follow our dreams! Cherish everyday that we wake up! I lost my father at a very young age. I didn't get to know him. So at least your husband spend quality time with him. Also my friend lost his father. He was going to visit him on his birthday. But before he got back to his country he died. My friend still misses his dad. I hope everything turns out alright. Have a good day!

Vets have a special place in my heart.  I know you were proud of his service.  You are right about showing your love while you can.  To jkhanson: I'm sorry for what you are going through.  My mom had breast cancer when she was 85, and will now be 105 on September 4th!

I am sorry for your loss. I do know how you feel. I lost my father in 2007 when my own son was just 1. Sadly my son doesn't remember his Grandpa all that well but I know my father got to meet his grandson just one time. I will remember my father picking up my son and holding him for as long as I live. Cherished memories.
