It depends on the individual situation. However, on the whole, I am pretty open-minded/liberal.

I'm a fairly open minded and liberal person.  I believe people should be able to "LIVE AND LET LIVE" as long as they live legally and don't hurt other people or animals.

Open minded in that I can really listen to someone else's opinion and try to see things from their perspective.  I think everyone is entitled to make their own choices in life.  Life is all about making choices, ever choice has certain risks & consequences.  Our lives will be the result of the choices we make.

Close Minded when someone else trying to make my life choices for me.

I dislike the that liberals are open-minded while conservatives are closed-minded. In fact some of the more open-minded people are conservative while some liberals are more closed-minded. I actually don't see the relationship between how open-minded a person is compared with their political stance.

I am a very logical person, and so I remain open-minded when it comes to facts (and I do a fair amount of fact-checking on both sides of the argument). However once I have made an opinion on something, it is usually made after a long, serious thought about everything I know about the topic and come up with the most logical conclusions that I can find. Thus once I've made a decision, I tend to be a little more closed-minded. However I am always open to new facts, and so when I have changed my mind, it is usually based on new information or a new argument presented to me that I hadn't thought of before.
