ancient practices
« on: July 25, 2015, 06:20:28 am »
yoga, for example, has been around for hundreds of years.
Chinese herbs are very reputable for healing many diseases ["dis -ease"] / not at ease.
There are a number of other solutions to problems that have been around for ages.
The longevity of something proves its worth and reliability.

In ancient Greece, it was a common practice to consume a particular type of clay that was found on the Greek island Lemnos called terra sigillata. Disks of clay were exported and sold as a medical remedy for stomach problems and diarrhea.

Not sure what diseases herbs can cure.  There are things herbs have helped with but actually curing a real disease - I don't really believe that.

You should believe it ;) Just one example of how an herb can work is by alkalizing the blood which is scientifically proven to prevent many diseases. When the blood is consistently acidic this is what brings about your cancers and other chronic illnesses. There's a reason the U.S. is one of the richest nations in the world with the poorest health. It's in our diets!

When I'm young my mother used herb when we are sick. In Asia we always used herb or medicinal plants and we hardly visit the doctor. No side effect and no need of spending money.
