What is thanking?

How do you thank someone? 

I've noticed that people have x amount of thanks by their names.  How do I thank someone and how do they thank me?

Is there any kind of advantage to having lots of thanks?

Under your profile picture it list how many post you have made and the year you joined. Under that it list how many times you were thanked. Under that in green letters there is say thanks. You would click on that to thank someone. I do not believe there are any benefits for saying thanks. Welcome to FusionCash.

  I found this pretty interesting and I think I will start "Thanking" a lot more people.
