Hobbies are like therapy

Mine is photography,  and with the digital photos we have playing with them in photoshop.  I take care of lots of presents for people with my photos.

I've always been into crafts and I'm lucky to have a job that lets me use my creative side.  I don't like to spend alot of money & prices on stuff can be ridiculous.  I REALLY enjoy being creative & crafty when it comes to making what I need/want, rather than over-paying for same thing. 

Making EVERYTHING takes ALOT of time, but it is relaxing.  (Today I'm working on making a pinata for a birthday party which will cost under $5 vs paying $10 on up at a store.  Found the instructions on-line, sooo excited!!)

I used to have several but don't know. One hobby i loved so much was model plane building but it became a lil to costly lol (kept taking them out on the wrong days)

Some hobbies are like therapy, but one of my hobbies is making money online, and the way my computer has been acting up lately, it certainly isn't very therapeutic! I'm about ready to throw it out the window. I don't even have a back up laptop any more, because  gave my old one to the kids, so I'll be without a computer for a week or so while this one is in the shop getting fixed.

I like doing hobbies, am thinking about selling my hand painted gourds on line, just have not started yet. I am afraid when I do I will have to start working longer and harder and it will start to feel like a job. I did e-bay for a long time before I moved and it seemed like a job after a bit. I put a lot of time in on the gourds the carved ones take a while to do.

So true that Hobbies are like therapy! My hobby is making money. Every morning when I wake up at around four or four thirty I start with fusion cash as I have for about six years. Every Saturday I go to the library and review investment articles for ninety minutes. I check the financial websites at lunch every day. On the last Sunday of every month I review my current assets and what returns they have brought me for half an hour. I then work on my investments and goals for about an hour. My spreadsheets are like your clay in that we are both creating a thing of beauty in the beholder's eyes. This is my way of calming down after working eighty to ninety plus hours per week and satisfaction settles over me whenever I see progress and growth.

I have drifted away from my hobby of plastic canvas due to lack of time but every once in a while I pick it up and start creating something ... I especially like to make gifts for ppl .. my mom and sis love homemade things.

I can definitely relate to that. Throughout various times in my life I have taken up crafting hobbies and realise I find them so addicting. I find it so relaxing and therapeutic to pick up a cross-stitch or Christmas craft. Last year I made the most wonderful Christmas garland with pine cones I have collected all my life. Some were from Scotland, England, Mexico, Arizona. Now every Christmas I will get out my garland and recall all the times I collected them.

I really want a hobby but i dont have one all together.  I just recently read that pisces need outlets for their health. Im a pisces.

I started to crochet and I love it. I stopped now since the weather is much nicer but I'll start again to make things for the fall. It's great to have hobbies
