Yes, annoying for sure. They clearly have no respect for other people. Many places I have been recently I have noticed signs posted saying no cell phones. My pharmacist blessed someone out one day for that nonsense. It was awesome to see it.

@Paints - The world we use to know has changed.  It is not safe for a woman to accept help from a random stranger on the side of the road.  She is more likely to be raped and killed than helped.  I like knowing I can call for help if something happens.

I understand what you're saying, Countygirl, but I refuse to live my life in fear of what "might" happen.
There are more good people than bad in the world. 

Maybe so.  And I don't live my life "in fear of what might happen".  But I don't put myself in a situation that is unsafe.  For example, if I were to break down on the side of the road and a man I didn't know stopped and offered me a ride - I would not get in a car with him.

I guess if he is the owner of the business he can get away with that. lol.  If I yell at someone for being on a cell phone at work I would likely get written up or loose my job.  I would agree that would be hilarious to see.  If you need to conduct business then shut your face, get off the phone, and conduct business.

You know what's worse than that? People who use the self checkout when they don't even know how to use it or have way too much items. Not only have you made the self checkout lane slower, you look like an idiot at the same time. Good freaking job

lol.  Never really cared who was at the self check out.  I don't use them anyway.
