charcoal is the best with a chimney starter. There you dont have to use fluid and have your food taste like *bleep*.

Using gas has made it easier to cook outside.I do remember the days when it was just charcoal and you still cant beat the flavor it gave.But we got lazier.Its like we went from the push button telephone instead of dialing or how much we depend on the remote for TV!!
