Employer surveys

Are you honest when taking a work place surveys online or do you feel that
the survey will be seen by management, so you kinda answer the questions
untruthfully or neutral.

I am no longer comfortable with online surveys.

I am not worried about my boss seeing my answers.  That's a little far fetched.  I would be more leery about the people who put out the surveys seeing a post in here that says oh yeah I lie when I answer the survey questions. lol.  I actually don't remember any questions on the employers surveys that would matter if my boss saw it.

I think a lot has to do with the company you work for. If there is a culture of trust where disagreeing is accepted then you should be honest. If management just does the survey to check off their list then I'm careful in what I say. I have worked for both type of companies.

Surveys conducted at work I'm honest. If I'm frustrated (which is often), I do say something. However, regardless of what I say I see things just worsen instead of getting better. My voice never seems to be heard.

Maybe I missed something.  I thought we were talking about surveys like on this site.  NO I don't lie on those.  If you are talking about surveys you take thru your work place I have only taken one and yes I lied.  You get to the survey thru a link sent to your email so I am sure it can be traced back to you.
