Do you think food cravings mean anything in particular? Do you ever crave certain foods?

I don't know that food cravings mean anything in particular.  Once in awhile I do feel like there is something that I want that I don't usually have.

I crave sugar more than anything. The thing is that when you give in to a craving, you make it that much easier to give in to it the next time. :o

So, you have to start resisting. The more you resist, the easier it will be to resist that temptation.

when I think of food cravings it is usually for things that I don't normally eat. For instance I don't usually eat red meat like steak or burgers. Sometimes I get bad cravings for french fries. Last saturday night I went out to eat with a friend and a grilled burger and fries. Boy was that good! :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

Since I started eating better I don't really get it anymore but I used to get a strong craving for protein. Something like a burger, eggs, fish. Now I just get chocolate cravings when that time of the month is near.

I think when you crave something it is usually something your body actually needs.  I have cravings all the time!  Maybe, I should take a long hard look at my diet??!

Food cravings sometimes indicate mineral imbalances, Listen to your body, and drink water first thing, when a craving hits, Wait for 10 minutes, and if the craving does not go away, then indulge a little bit.
