Windows 10
« on: June 14, 2015, 06:12:33 am »
I think it's time for me to upgrade from Vista.
I have to get Windows 7 first to make the transition smoother.
I sure hope I don't have to buy a new computer.
There are a few ways to put it on a disc.
I'd rather not.

I have a Windows 8.1 laptop and a friend of mine pointed out the little Windows icon on my task bar (lower right) that let me request my upgrade free, so I did it yesterday.

I got that message as well and decided to go through with it. I've been using Windows 8 for almost a year now. Before that I was using Windows XP and then I got a message telling me they weren't sending updates for the OS anymore and that I needed to upgrade.

I am going to see how well windows 10 is after a few months after release... If it's good I will upgrade to it, and if not I will stay with windows 7.. Good thing Microsoft gives an option if you want to install it (u just have to make sure you reserve it tho.)

Yes I saw that same icon, but I've just started using the Windows 8.1 so I'm gonna stick with that a little bit before I upgrade.
