A long time ago, I thought saving the left overs was a good thing, and not to waste it, food is expensive. But now I learned that over cooking our food just makes cancers or makes the food too hard for our heart.  Storing some kinds of food in cold storage makes it so diabetic conditions to worsen.   So, actually, the best thing is to throw away your leftovers, or learn not to over-meal-make, not an easy task.  Believe that or not.   :-\

We just refrigerate and eat not the next day but usually the day after that - my youngest son goes to work at 4 pm so he has to eat something before he goes to work that will last him through about 11pm.  It is a pain in the butt trying to figure out what to cook and eat - we try to do crockpot meals that will leave left overs.

My husband usually has our leftovers for the next day's lunch.
Have a wonderful day!

Depends on the food - some I can "freeze" while others I cannot because they just don't come out the same after you defrost them.

I just throw it in some tupperware in the fridge and eat it the next day.  Some of my family is picky about leftovers, but it doesn't bother me.

I rarely have leftovers. I purposely make only enough for one meal. I am not big on remembering to reheat things.

Left over food is placed in the fridge and either eaten the next day or is thrown away.

I put my leftovers in the fridge. I warm them up the next day. Sometimes I think leftovers taste better than the originals.

Look at it :silly:  What do you think most people do with it, they either EAT it eventually or throw it out, that is really all you can do with it 8)

Depends on what it is  Some stuff is not good left over.  If it is we eat it later, the next day, or whenever.  Sometimes we give it to the animals.
