I just finished The Girl on the Train.  It is the best book I've read in a long time, and I read a lot of books.  It is a murder mystery with a twist that keeps you guessing.  It takes place in London.

My son had less than acceptable grades in his spring semester so I have him in a reading program that requires five books (or fourteen hundred pages-whichever comes first).  To make sure that he is actually doing the reading I have committed to reading the books and quizzing him once he has completed each book.  The first book is Hunter S. Thompson's "Hells Angels-the Drama and tragedy" to tackle the local author requirement (we live in Colorado). I also assigned "Dead Shift" which is a compilation of short stories from Stephen King. I put "the Help" by Kathryn Stockton on the list and two other books that I can't remember completely. One is What the Dog Saw and I think the other is The Happiness experiment.

I just started reading "The Little Book of Kitchen Cures for Everyday Ailments".  It's very interesting and gives one a lot of suggestions for handling different types of bodily ailments.  ;)

I just finished reading "Killing Lincoln" by Bill O'Riley.  It was actually very good.

I have been listening to the audiobooks of Darynda Jones' 'Charley Davidson' series.
I'm also reading Mira Grant's 'Parasite' and Elizabeth Little's 'Dear Daughter'.
