Never heard of it until I read your post - I am 61 and have issues that of late have been really bad especially with my mobility and shortness of breath - might have to check it out.  Went out to eat with family last night and even though I had a regular cane thought I wasn't going to make it back out to the car.  Hard not to get discouraged but have to try to keep a good attitude and appreciate its not worse.

I've not purchased one, but I do have one. I can't remember where it came from or how I got it, but I have it. I have also had to use it about 6 months ago for 1-2 weeks because I hurt my back so much that I could hardly walk and needed support. It worked fine I guess, but I don't have much other cane-usage experience to compare it to. I think that I liked it a bit better than a regular cane though because it has a piece on the bottom that allows for the shaft of the cane to lean if you need it to while the foot/feet of the cane remain evenly on the floor and don't slip on surfaces like some canes do (even with rubber tips, because regular canes lose the sturdiness when leaned).

My mother uses one and she really likes it. It is nice that you don't have to worry about it falling over when you are not using it.
