Not the simple fact that everyone should have equal rights? Not the fact seperate but equal is still discrimination?

I mean, I agree that those people are disgusting but... really? THAT was your breaking point?

Actually my tale of acceptance is much longer then simply watching the Westboro Churches marchings...I just said that for a laugh.

Back in the day I was raised with my family thinking "nah it's gross" and my neighbors thinking "IT'S IN THE BIBLE THAT GAYS SHOULD BE PUT TO DEATH!" so I was always questioning if it really was bad. Now I know a few gay guys (before and after they came out) and there's really no major difference between them and the rest of my friends. They're both great people. That, and I realize now the religious front is friggin' pathetic argument.

No.  Completely against it.  Read the earlier thread about this.  You might get a kick out of what some people said.

I am 100% against it, I would never love to see my son or daughter act like that, They are not normal pepole, They would never be able to have a child for their own and they are wasting their time and life, This is what I think

I have a few questions for ya...if your son or daughter came out, would you disown them? If they're not normal people, then why are my gay friends completely normal? I'd bet you a lot of money you couldn't even tell they were gay unless they told you. True they cannot have a child of their own, but why not adoption or artificial insemination? Despite what you may think, children with same-sex parents usually grow up fine. And if they're wasting their lives, why are they decent caring people that want to have a chance to get married? YOUR ILLOGICAL PARADOXES PERPLEX ME!

So you would reject your son or daughter for feeling affection and love?
Not accepting gay marriage is like not accepting straight marriage.
You're rejecting people for loving.
People cannot control who they love, it is not a choice.

The Beasteology Argument is Stupid...the only people that ever get caught with an animal are hicks without education living in backwoods areas.
But I say that if you can't love your child Unconditionally without exception....then you don't deserve to have them.

Neither can sterile couples.  Make a point.

And all guys aren't going to marry each other and all girls aren't going to marry each other.  You're arguing red herrings that make absolutely zero sense.  Think before posting.

At times, when I read this -- and I'll put it bluntly -- just plain bullshit, I have to talk myself out of jumping out a window because of my depression caused by the ignorance and lack of critical thinking mankind consistently exhibits.  If you're opposed to something, take five damn minutes and put some logical thought into the reasons you oppose it.  Do not say ridiculously stupid crap like "if all men married men the human race would go extinct" and expect to be taken seriously.

They're ignorant hicks from Jesusland. You'd have a better chance convincing dogs than with ignorant 'god-fearin' folk who hate humans for their love towards one another. It's a moral quandry they will never be able to wrap their heads around because they are simply naive and retarded.  Do me a favor and watch Idiocracy and understand you ARE the main character!

To anyone who believe homosexuality is utterly horrible and wrong, do the world a favor and go to youtube and look up "John Corvino Whats wrong with homosexuality" and watch it. If you still think it's wrong, please do not procreate!

just one more reason my family doesn't like me very much:  i am a staunch supporter of gay marriage.  my sister is married to her partner, and i am so glad that she lives in mass. and was able to do that.  they were life partners already, but many of us were glad they were able to be married as well.

I'm ok with a gay UNION.  Gay marriage to me isn't possible.  I don't mind that people are gay and I honestly think they should be able to have the same rights as a married man and woman.  It's probably not the popular opinion, but I really think that's a fair solution to the issue.  Isn't that what this is all about?  Having equal rights??  You should be able to designate whoever you want to do whatever you want in your life-whether you're gay or straight or whatever!!

If you don't like the answer to this question, you definitely won't like the answer to the question "is it natural?"  Would I stop caring about someone I loved if I found out they were gay?  Of course not.  But I don't think it's a natural thing.

You're of the opinion that separate but equal is really equal.  I'm not.  It's not equality when you say "you all can have these rights, but we're still going to treat you differently and isolate you from the rest of people in society.  Enjoy!"

Nothing equal about that.  Giving blacks equal levels of education, new books, good teachers, etc. but still making them specifically go to all black schools wouldn't have been equal.

Everything humans do is natural.  People like to think they're not part of nature, that they're above it.  Simply arrogant thought.  We are as much a part of nature as any other living organism on this planet.  If humans do it, it is natural.

You wouldn't say monkeys/apes engaging in homosexual activity (and they do, along with over 1,500 documented and researched species) is unnatural, would you?  How can a monkey/ape do something unnatural?  They can't circumvent the laws of physics, the laws of chemistry, or the laws of nature in general, which is what it would require to classify something as "unnatural."  Humans cannot do any of these things either; thus everything they do remains natural -- a part of nature.

This concept of "unnatural" does not make any logical sense.
