everyone should be able to get married, I dont think anyone should be able to tell anyone if they can or can not get married unless they are to young.

I'm okay with it. People keep bringing up the fact that marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman like it says in the bible. The bible also says that a woman should be a virgin when she's married, hence the white dress. I don't many people following that.

I totally support gay marriage. My daddy is gay, and I want him to be happy in everyway possible. I would support him getting married in a second.

I am 100% against it. I think it is a sign we are in the end times.

Do you just like to stir the pot?  In a similar discussion on D&D, you were touting gay rights.

I'm sorry, I thought they wanted my opinion, which I gave! Is it stirring the pot? Oh well, don't ask for opinions, if you don't want any but your own.

Marriage is not just a personal contract it is a SERIOUS commitment under God and this is the way it should be treated. Homosexual marriage is an abomination and no one has the right to marry but God who joins two together and a man of God a pastor who has the right under God to marry people a true MAN of God pastor. Homosexuality is an ABOMINATION and a PERVERSION and should not be tolerated, accepted, or recognized. God made the institution of marriage and God has the right to sustain a marriage. A marriage that is built upon God's word will never fail but contracts between men and man founded relationships are bound for failure. Man made economy or anything that is founded upon man will FAIL! God and his word will stand for ever as is promised in his word! The people are as grass and the surely the grass withereth the grass withereth and the flower fadeth but the word of God shall stand forever Isaiah 40:8. God and his word shall stand for ever and he instituted one man and one women becoming one flesh forever. When you are intimate you are bonding your body with others and this is something sacred which is meant only for one man and one women commited together in love forever and anything else is perversion. Bestiality is an abomination!

My husband and I were married by a Rabbi, not a pastor.  We were joined by g-d.  Is my marriage not a valid one?  What about a Christian couple that gets married by a justice of the peace?

And your last line about *bleep*?  That makes you not qualified to discuss gay marriage, IMO.  It is a weak weak argument, because we're talking about consenting human beings, people, part of the same species.  I suppose next you'll be jumping down interracial marriage as equivalent to Men boning Cows.   :angry7:

That is weak, Marie.  You're better than that.  I don't take issue with opinions that differ with my own.  I can't help but wonder, though, when your opinion changes with a drop of a dime.

What was I defending in a previous post? That being gay isn't a choice, that still don't give them the right to marry. I am against it because I would never do it. If it is legal one day, i don't care, it aint me, I won't lose sleep over it.

I support gay marriage. They have a right to be miserable like the rest of us straight married people.

I don't care... if that's what a gay couple wants to do let them do it.

If they love each other, then they should be able to be married, and to adopt if they so choose.
