I do not always answer the phone when unknown numbers pop up, unless I am sorta expecting some to call and I do not have their number in my phonebook.  I sure like caller id.  Saves me a lot of time and gets some  of them off my back.

If I don't expect a phone call, I don't pick up on any unknown phone call.. If it is important they can leave something in the voice mail
