Learning something new on a Monday
« on: May 11, 2015, 07:09:40 am »
Do you like learning something new the pertains to work early Monday morning ? I don't care for Mondays
because i am still mentally relaxing from the weekend, lol.

Also Mondays are always busy as it is.

Since I don't work except online, Monday is just another day to me. One day is just as relaxing as another.

Monday is the best day for me to learn something new because it is one of the days that I leave open for doing things for myself.

I always preferred to work on Mondays, Always something new happening. I was usually off on Wednesdays and Sundays. I liked breaking my week up. But if I wanted off on Saturday to go with my Sunday off I got it. I had so much vacation and sick time it was easy for me to get off. Now I am just a homemaker and most days are the same.

When I was working, before I retired, we had a staff meeting every Monday morning.  I always thought we should have had them at the end of the week to discuss how our week had been and to have a list of projects distributed for the next week.  However, I did kind of like Mondays.

I learn as much as I can on programming languages... My Mondays aren't usually bad since most of my courses in college are in Tuesday and Thursday.

I don't have a paying job per se but I take care of my elderly mother and two sisters with health issues, and my great nephews.  So things are pretty much things are always busy, it's hard to  distinguish between weekends and week days lol

If it is first thing on a Monday I do not mind it as much because there is really nothing that you can do about it and it is just a delay in tackling every thing else that is on your plate.  I am usually sharper in the morning and can soak up a lot more of what is sent my way and it gives me the whole week to refine and utilize what I have learned. I think the middle of the week, Wednesdays are usually a good day for training as well because it gives you a break from the normal day to day grind and it kind of earmarks the middle of the week so that when you are done training the week is half way over.  Kind of silly that I even observe 'hump' day because I work at least fifteen hours a day, seven days a week! My night time project is a lot easier so I guess I look  forward to working on that during the weekends.

My husband and I are small business owners and as such we continually learn about our work any day or night of the week.

In addition, I work online.  There, too, it does not matter what time of the day or day of the week I learn new things.

It's a good thing I have a calendar, so that I know what day and month we're in.  LOL   :silly:
