Today St. John hospital in Warren, Mi is having there yearly Fibromyalgia conference.
They have doctors and presenters talk to us about fibro and give us all
kinds of free information about it.

I suffer from fibro, so it is very helpful.

If is not free, but it is worth it.

How is the info free but attending is not? Not sure I understand that logic, but okay! Hope you feel better, maybe WebMD has better info on it.

I think Health Conference's are great.  I appreciate them even if you have to pay. You are normally still paying less than you would if you were having the same type test done in a hospital.

I've been to lots of conferences. There are many of them that will charge you extra for any information, books, etc., that you take home. I've been hooked before by paying lots of extra money for books they push to sell while you're there. It takes will power to say no to them because they all seem so terribly useful and interesting.

It's better when you don't get hooked for more money when you've already paid for the conference.

The conference was great. The info they gave us is about social security disability, lawyers, ways to ease your pain, etc. Doctors speak as well. They have information they give you for free and information they sell. If you are into learning about fibromyaglia and meeting people who suffer from the same health issues, it is worth it. If not, don't attend.

It is a one stop shop to get all the information needed to hopefully help us move forward.

I went to a Targi conference once a month when I lived in Poland for two years.  They had a lot of free stuff and innovative machinery and "business booths". You could buy things or watch videos with a vision for the future in certain areas such as dentistry.
