Do you read books either paperback or hard cover, or only on a device like a nook?

I use a Kindle.  I haven't read a hard cover in  years.

I do both.  Have a kindle, but down load to my android tablet more, but still will pick up a good book that I want to read.

I read both - hardcover books and ebooks. However, I read far more ebooks than regular books.

I do both, while I prefer actual books...the ebooks come in handy when I'm waiting in line to pick up my nephew from school where I don't have to carry the book with me

Books only.
I tried the Kindle, but it just didn't feel right.

I borrow books from the library.  If my local library doesn't have a copy of a book that I want to read I pay $1.00 for an inter-library transfer.  When the book arrives at my local library I pick it up and make it a priority to read it.  That way I don't have to buy books.  If I feel the book from the library is one I wouldn't want to live without...I usually order a copy from Amazon or eBay.

Have a great day!

I read on my Kindle more. But there is something comforting about a real book, where you can fondle the pages and appreciate the paper quality. You can hug a book. I never want to hug my Kindle.  I also like decorative bookmarks you use with a real book.

Still I use my Kindle more...saves trees.

I read both, but in the last several years most of the books I've bought have been off of my phone thru Google Play. Getting books that way allows me to pull it out and read whenever I want. In high school and college, in order to do the same, I'd wear cargo shorts and stuff a paperback into one of the leg pockets. But now I don't need anything bulky, and since I always carry my phone around, I don't have to make special plans in order to bring a book along with me.

As for e-reading devices that are designed specifically for that purpose (eg Nook or Kindle), I'd rather just use a smart phone / tablet... I was once given a Nook for Christmas and I converted it into an Android device using N2A that used an Android image on an external SD card just so that I could get other apps instead of just books. But even with that, I hardly ever used it so my phone soon took over for all of my mobile use.

Books!  I love me some BOOKS, and always try to buy the hard cover to add to my collection of BOOKS!
