I tried this offer a couple of weeks ago and still haven't gotten my credit.  I do a lot of shopping with Amazon, so I bought a gift card to use there. I didn't get my FC credit, but I did get $5.00 off of the $40 gift card, so I was happy with the deal.  You can find the offer under the "More" tab.  You have to click on the banner that comes up after you click on the tab before you get the arrows that allow you to scroll through the rest of the offers. I do hope the credit shows up as advertised.  I would buy more gift cards from the site to spend places where I would be shopping anyway.

I've seen discounted gift cards offered before, but not on this site and I've never seen the minimal requirement that low. I think the lowest I've seen is a $25 card with a bonus card or a percentage amount less.

This discussion about discount giftcards almost sounded like a 'free lunch', (as in:  there is no such thing).  Then I went and looked at the 'more' tab and refreshed a few times and the offer for 'Gyft' app appeared.  $5 bonus for joining.  $2 FC.  Bummer, I had already joined them a while back.

If you're talking about the GYFT offer, I tried that a while ago, and never got credited by FC. But I did get the bonus $5.00 card from GYFT, which was wonderful.
