Revoked Payments
« on: April 14, 2015, 05:49:00 am »
I seem to have noticed that the more money I make or when I start making a decent amount of money then I start having a ton of "revoked payments".  Has any one else had this happen?  If we do a survey they should not be able to revoke the payment.  Seems to me if they do not like your answers they decide to just not pay you.  If you take your time and answer the questions you should get paid and be able to keep said payment.

I have had a bigger problem with that lately too. I never know the reason, they just say it has been revoked. I wish they would tell me why.

I had that problem in the past. I am afraid to do surveys now because I am afraid I may have my payment revoked. I know the feeling of this. I've been through that with the surveys.

I don't do many surveys, so I haven't had a problem so far. Do offer payments ever get revoked, or is it just the surveys?

I have been pretty lucky with that .. happens once in a blue moon ... just make sure when you cash out it is over $25 and enough to cover if they revoke one.

I think many of us have a payment revoked one way or another. Move on and be happy with what you did get credited.

I have not been doing surveys lately, therefore, no revoked payments. I've had probably $50 in revoked surveys over the years. I stopped doing them...

i dont do surveys very often anymore i got tired of spending several minutes on them feeling like i was doing the survey only to be told that i didnt qualify!!!  if i spend ten to fifteen minutes on a survey i qualify they just dont want to pay me for my time. it feels very unfair. i do hate to complain about them but it is very frustrating.

I actually emailed a long time ago and received a response that said they could not tell me the reason basically because then I could change that and not be revoked in the future.  I know I have read that they ask questions in different ways to see if you give the same answer and if you do not it shows you are not paying attention.  Well, NO, if you ask me a question in 2 different ways the way you ask the question COULD change the way I answer you.  That was about as much info as I was given.  It is just frustrating.

You will get an email telling you that payment has been revoked.  And if you look over to the left where you are awaiting payment (you should know what you have coming) you will see the amount go down.  :(

Surveys are the only thing I have ever had it happen on.  But stuff like radio loyalty, emails, searches, etc - there is really no way they can revoke that.  The surveys they have told me that if the advertiser revokes payment then they can't pay us.  It is up to the ones doing the survey if they want to accept your answers.  If they make enough people mad enough to not do the stupid survey then they will not be able to get people to take part in the future.

Sorry, I cannot do that.  Most of the surveys take way longer than they say they will anyway.  I have surveys that say they will take 5 minutes to 10 minutes and end up spending 45 minutes on it and expect to get 75 cents.  I had close to $5 revoked so that is a huge deal.  Not a get over it and move on kind of thing.

Well at least I know it is not just me.  I am about ready to quit myself.  I don't blame FC because the advertisers are the ones who are revoking the payments.

That or you spend 30 minutes doing a survey and obviously answer a question wrong and then get kicked out.  My favorite is the one where they ask my 13 year old son to participate.  I call him to the computer (or use to) and they ask him 3 questions (questions I have already answered) 1) how old are you 2) are you hispanic 3) what is your race?  He answers the same way I do.  Then he gets "sorry you do not qualify".  SMH
