Driver Licence
« on: April 12, 2015, 07:56:58 am »
I am trying to pass the driver's test for the first time in my life. It has been years since I drove, without a licence. And my first try was bad. Any help out there?

Did you get the book to go with it?

Definitely get the book or study guide. Every state has their own laws and rules when it comes to driving on their roads/streets/highways. Don't be nervous and have confidence. I am a violations clerk where I live and have dealt with traffic laws for almost 20 yrs. Most cops come to me for statute and ordinance numbers...lol. Just believe you will pass and have faith and you will be fine! Good luck!! :)

You can usually download a copy of the Driver's handbook for your state.  I would suggest that you review the heck out of it so you can feel comfortable for the written test.  Also, make sure you're prepared to jump through the other necessary hoops...so you can walk away with your license.

In Utah, you also have to have an original or certified copy of your birth certificate, you have to pass an eye exam and pay a fee.  Good luck....

Have a great day!

There is a book that you can get to use as study material, also i would suggest maybe finding some kind of practice questions or tests online before you go back.

I have to get mine renewed in June. I will only have to take the sign and eye test.

Study the book, be cautious and don't drive too fast, keep your hands at ten and two and always use your turn signals.

Practice. The hardest for me was parallel parking. Only thing that helped was practice. GEt a driving buddy and practice. You will pass. It just takes getting over the nervousness. BMaston12

Continue to study the driver's handbook, practice driving, and you'll get your license in no time.

There are occasionally some groupons for Driver Ed Courses.
There are also practice tests from the standard book online, use those to practice as well.

You will get the hang of it, practice practice practice :)

Get a book from DMV, study it. Or better yet take a driving course.  For me if I had not been driving for a long time I think that would be the best course because so much has changed and you would get some personal help.

I just got mine last month, what I did was try to do online first. There are many practice online test that you can answer and if you got it wrong they will tell whats the correct one.
