Have you ever opened a bank account online?

NO. I `m not very confident to do that online. I`d rather do it in person in the bank. But I hear there are people doing it. So I guess its Ok.

I opened up an online savings account almost nine years ago and have never had a problem. Also, I trust the company.

I have never opened one on line, but my accounts have been converted to online accounts.  Have never had any problems.   When my identity was stolen it was with a regular bank account.

Yes I have several for several years and haven't had any problems.  Recently I opened accounts with Ever Bank and My Savings direct.  Online banks have higher interest rates than brick and mortar banks.

Yes, I have.  And I've been very happy with it.  I can transfer funds, write checks, assign beneficiaries, and I have a debit card that I can use fee-free.

       Yes! And some banks have some good deals. If you open a new account and make some direct deposits, the bank will give a bonus of $ 100 or $200. Then after you receive your bonus, you can close your account at any time. Just Google it...and see what you can find.

Never did. Only at the bank itself. I did make an account though so I can check what I have in my savings. Except this computer is so old that it is not letting me log back in.

No.  I am not going to open an account and manage it totally online and never see a real person or a real building.  I work too hard for my money to not know exactly where it is.

I have three times. Regions, Compass and Wachovia. The only thing I had to do was show up in person to make my opening deposit and sign a little paperwork it took like 5 minutes. And after you have finished opening account online they call you to let you know that you are set up.

Yes, I opened an online account with Netspend a long time ago. I got $20 for free, because I signed up using someone's referral link. It was quick and easy, and well worth getting the 20 bucks!
