Usually a lot of the stuff I do is tedious, boring stuff but tonight I got to do one that my girls were thrilled about!!! They could not believe I was getting paid to watch a movie preview lol

I wont say much cause im not sure what the privary rules are but during one of my surveys I was given the opportunity to review the previews to a movie that my girls favorite star (Miley Cyrus) is filming in my favorite vacation spot which is 2 hours away from here!! As a matter of fact, I've been trying to get my girls there to try to get Miley's autograph all summer but between my mom being sick (she passed away a couple of weeks ago) and my sister having her 5th baby so I was helping her plus my air conditioning in my car has broken three times since May so we have not made it there yet but I have plans to take them "star searching" next Wednesay to try to get an autograph and a picture. I hope we can get close to her. We live in a tiny town and they have never been anywhere near a celeb, much less their favorite of all time.

Not only is that one we are planning to go see on opening day, but we are going to go to the town it was filmed in and watch it on opening day if possible!!

Miley Cyrus is truly one of those people who has no talent, but because of connections and her dad, she has become a "celebrity".  GL.

I like her music as Miley Cyrus but HATED the Hannah Montana crap and am glad she is done with that. That really was annoying. The show is kinda funny at times though.

I tend to get wrapped up in whatever my kids are interested in. To me it is exciting to see the happiness in their face and they think they have the coolest mom ever bc I keep up with their favorite celebs and subscribe to their twitter page and tell them the stuff I read-gives us something to talk about lol   

She seems to be a nice and genuine person or at least puts up a good act for the kids if she is not. She lets fans get close to her and takes pictures and the way I found out she was in Tybee Island is because of a news story that she went to eat at a restaurant that had a live band playing (one of my fave places) and she got on stage and did some impromptu songs which thrilled the kids that were there. My kids were so mad because that was the weekend of my birthday and we were supposed to go and didnt get to because of my car AC being broken so we might have missed the opportunity of a lifetime.

I can see how she might be annoying to people who do not have interest in the "tween" stuff.

I've never seen her act, but I like her music. It's upbeat and fun, I listen to it when I'm at the gym. Not a big fan of tv in general, so nothing personal against her.

My daughter is 4 and loves hannah montana...the music is fine but to me the show is annoying mainly because on the show they seem to like, over-act a lot of the time to be funny, or try to hard to be silly (not sure how to put it)...like the stupid voices, weird faces, etc...so now every kid I see between 8-13 is acting like that. It would be ok if it were once in awhile to throw in some humor but it seems like on the show the characters are constantly acting really weird/annoying.

Congrats to you.  I have never really heard her sing or watched her shows or her movie, but I know who her dad is.  I went to see him at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA  and let me tell you, he was the most rude person I have ever seen.  After the concert people were going up to get autographs and I was an arm's length away from him, but he wouldn't sign anything for me.  He was only signing his CD's or his shirts or things that had his name on it basically.  I was so disappointed I stopped listening to him and never went to another concert.
