I got my laptop at woot.com, the downside being there was no warranty, but it's served me well so far other than a hard drive failure that was probably related to a very hard fall it took early on when I first got it. However, you're pretty limited on options with woot.com, and the only reason I bought it there was because they offered a deal for the laptop line I was considering already.

Otherwise, I've had good success with electronics I've bought through Amazon Warehouse Deals.

I usually buy  mine from Newegg.com  ...they have great prices, good warranties and great electronics.

Before I got mine, I read reviews on-line so I knew what I wanted.  Then I checked all local prices and found a way better price on ebay from someone who bought one but couldn't figure out how to use it & was practically giving it away.  Have had it almost 4 years, no problems.

Frys if your area has one either make a custom one or buy a pre-build one, if not just go to best buy.

I would say Best Buy or Walmart. But compare laptop and prices with the different stores.

I got my laptop at walmart 2 years ago.  So far it is working just fine.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless ech of you and keep you safe. :)

I'm saving up for a new laptop.  Have been looking into Newegg for awhile now and find their prices amazing.  Glad to hear you had a good experience.  I don't know anyone who has purchased from them but I couldn't find any bad reviews.  Thanks.
