Ready for summer ?
« on: March 16, 2015, 01:52:16 pm »
Anyone ready for some summertime and good weather ?
I'm a stay at home mom for 6 more months.
i feel this winter has dragged on so much for me and my son to be able to enjoy the out doors together seeing as he is almost 6 months don't want him to be out in the cold to long and get sick to much, Since him and his daddy were both sick 2 weeks ago and this mom had to take care of both of them ahah ,
What are you guys looking forward to doing this summer ?

Not no much the hot weather we have,  but to be able to be out and doing the yard , garden and other plants, go fishing so forth. I hate it when it is so cold you are miserable. Spring is just around the corner and it seems every time we have a really nice warm day the wind comes up and the pollen flys every where. I can't win. But at least I am able to get out of the house.

The weather has been getting a bit warmer. The days are a little longer so I'm ready for summer. It's just around the corner!

I longed for the summer. It is my favorite season. I can't wait to start wearing light clothings and start with my morning jogging.

It's 4:30 in the afternoon here in NM and I started tilling my garden today.  I've already cooked out a few times.  Yes, I'm very ready for summer, bring it on.   8)  :rainbow: (We need a sun emoticon.)

Yes! I am a stay at home mom as well and hate that I've been couped up in the house for months. My poor baby barely knows whats outside of these walls. It hit 50 today so we went for a long walk. Good times.

I wouldn't mind if summer held back for a few weeks to give us a nice Spring - mainly keep things below freezing at night and above freezing during the day for a few weeks so I can gather some sweet sap from my maple tree.  Been either too cold or too warm for the sap to flow this season...

I'm no thinking about summer yet as I want to enjoy spring when everything blooms.  Last year a couple of freezes just at the wrong time kept almost all of my blooming trees from blooming and I'm so hoping that doesn't happen again this year.
