government agencies we can do without

We can do without the  EPA, when they started it was to protect the public from bad food and dirty resturants now they are into  messing up our whole country.  Of course the welfare and food stamp program needs to be revamped.

I am not a big fan of homeland security. News agencies and researchers alike have said that homeland security is at a twenty three percent efficiency rating  which means that over one in four things that shouldn't get through manage to make it through. All this gets through as we spend hours in the lines at the airports watching them frisk four year old children and seventy eight year old women.  Then, when we eventually make it to the front of the line we get to take off our shoes, empty our pockets, take off our belts, separate our computers from our computer bags and go through an x-ray cabinet that malfunctions, sets off an alarm that has two bored looking guards come over, wave a wand over our bodies and tell us that it must have been a false alarm. Then we get to walk past the troves of people that made the mistake of bringing three point two ounces of shampoo instead of three point one.  Seriously?

Without the FDA there would be no regulations of food or drugs.  It is a very good thing.  I think the first to be eliminated should be the welfare and disability agencies.  Over half of the people drawing disability could work if they wanted to.  The same with welfare.  Get a job or do without.

I agree that we could get with revamping a few of them. Homeland Security is the first one on my list, since it was created it has screwed up the security of this county even more.  Immigration Office should be as it was before an agency of its own and not trap with Homeland Bureaucracy if they function on their own it would be better and not keep so many immigrants in jail and wasting taxpayers $$.  The Secret Service and NSA are other agencies that really need to go or at least fix for the better
