Carroll said he wanted to use the down to waste a little clock and them run it on 3rd and 4th downs. They had time, they had 2 timeouts, Wilson had good protection in the pocket, they didn't need to rush it. If anything, Wilson should've just thrown that ball away.

Even more reason then to run instead of pass. If you want to waste time, you wouldn't want to attempt to throw the ball in case of an incomplete pass that would stop the clock. No, he really just blew it with that play.

I was cheering for the Patriot's, one of the players had been playing their games with a very heavy heart since an AZ "boarding facility" killed 4 of his dogs & 19 others.  The case wasn't getting the justice the dogs deserved, now hopefully it will.  (Bill Montgomery, DO YOUR JOB!!)

Absolutely!!!  What a moronic move!  I don't know, I seriously wonder if all of these games aren't fixed.  Who, in their right mind, would make a move like this?

I think sometimes these coaches get caught up in the moment and dont think it out too well.Mike Francesa today said Belichick is the king of these situations.Always has it thought out well.I have seen more than once some of these coaches stink with clock managment!!Rex Ryan of Jets was bad at that too.

Carroll is a good coach but he will have to live with this one.He blew it!!
