I absolutely love shrimp! There's a new gumbo place here and I was trying to get my little sister to go when she was in town but she's adamant about not liking seafood lol

I'm not crazy about shrimp but absolutely love fish and chips. Once when we were travelling in Australia we happened to stop at a roadside café and had fish and chips at a little café. The cook there made the absolutely most awesome fried fish we have every had. The pieces were huge (about a foot in diameter) and the fish so light and tender, they just melted in our mouths.

I'm not much for seafood - however, I like fried shrimp a lot and fried fish but that is about it.  Other people in my family like a lot of different seafood items but I only like the above mentioned oh and I like fried clams also.

The best fish I ever had was in Scotland. I ordered a fish supper (one and a half huge pieces of fresh cod) and it was battered and fried to perfection. It came with a huge order of chips (as wel call them in Scotland) and the order was so large I couldn't finish it all (huge disappointment for me!). It was such great value but really, I would have paid double. In England we add a little salt and vinegar to our chips and you can sometimes order a pickled onion or pickled egg. One other thing I had in England which I've never had anywhere else, was chips in gravy!
