Sleeping in
« on: January 11, 2015, 02:09:56 am »
I am trying to sleep in more Saturdays and Sundays. I have been doing
A good job, but never feel rested. I guess I need a very long vacation or need
to retire.

Do you sleep in when you can or do you get up early and get your day
started like I use to?

I think eternal clock knows when to get up. I'm usually up at 6am during the week and try to sleep in until 7 or 8am the latest because now I started a  job that requires me to work Saturdays and on Sundays I have to be up early for church and to get my son ready for CCD. So my world is always spinning with something...lol

There is more time during the week then on sunday or saturday. I may just have a yard sale just to keep up !

I wish I could sleep in on the weekends. I have two kids - a 12 year old and a 5 (almost 6) year old. My 5 year old loves getting up around 6-7 AM on the weekends. Can't get him to sleep later than that.

I get up whenever I wake up...Usually 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. Some mornings I'd like to stay in bed and go back to sleep, but I don't. It messes with my internal clock.

The latest I can sleep in is 7:00 am.  By then one of my dogs want up, start barking, wake the other dogs up, so I have to get up to let them out and give them breakfast.

My alarm goes off at 5 a.m. during the week, so for me "sleeping late" means until somewhere between 6:30-7 a.m.

I am definately an early riser 4-5 am. Sundays is the only day the alarm isn't set. I can sometimes sleep till 7 am. it is easier for me to sleep later in the winter then any other time of year. :peace: :snowflake:

I sleep later on Tuesday mornings. I have found some special breakfast items with quinoa.
I tried a chia seed cereal.

The past 2 years I have been getting up around 5 or 5:30 and going to bed at about midnight or 1.
People have told me, its because of the stress in my life, but who knows, they are not doctors. Eventually I'll start to be able to sleep in again. Thats the way I look at it.

I wake up (and get up) anywhere from 2AM to 8AM, then take a nap or two between 9AM and 4PM or fall asleep after dinner from 6PM to 8PM so I guess I sleep when the mood strikes me and love it.

I try to sleep in but every morning my husband wakes me up. So once that happens i usually stay up the rest of the day because it's rare when i am able to sneak a nap
